Description:
This corner neighborhood library provides a stable and inspiring anchor
for this challenged area of the community. The design reflects many of the
circa 1920s-styled homes in the neighborhood.
On a small corner lot, the library was designed to open up to both streets
it faces, giving it a feeling of welcoming to passersby, almost like
another residence rather than a commercial building.
